Ireland, According to Mick
100% all Irishman, Mick’s paternal forefathers were from Derry, Northern Ireland, and his maternal ancestors from County Cork. That marriage of divergent cultures and religions was slightly scandalous and taboo…somewhat like the Montagues and Capulets or Hatfields and McCoys.
This unlikely union did however produce a well-rounded, well-founded, well-grounded and well-balanced son of Ireland voyager. Mick has travelled extensively, especially throughout Europe, and of course all over Ireland.
He has experienced airports, hotels, eating establishments, transportation, travels and travails, from Europe to Cananda, Mexico, and all throughout the US and Hawaii. Oh, and best we not forget – Ireland!
He is also an avid researcher and writer (every Irishman thinks he is a writer, or poet – or both).
Mick has made an extensive study of Irish history, culture, geography, people and places. He has amassed his knowledge and insight through comprehensive research along with personal experience and observation.
